2nd Leaders’ Congress: SUCCESSFUL

DAY I - Lectures and talks and at the same time fun consumed the day. It was a great opportunity to meet those speakers and young leaders sharing their experiences to us which somehow empowered and enlightened our minds and heart MORE about the true spirit of a true leader. We had our lunch at past 12, break at 3 and dinner at past 6. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to have my dinner because of a funny and cute reason. The facilitators also divided the 103 leaders into 8 groups which were named after a color and an animal. Afterward, we had a short reflection/meditation. They released us at exactly 9 in the evening and I was so hungry when I got home. lol

DAY II - It was like I haven’t regained my energy yet so I find it hard for me to wake up early in the morning. I arrived to school at 6:30 in the morning, stayed at the guard house and waited for my companions. I got bored so I went inside the campus and sat down near the Acacia tree watching the other leaders playing Volleyball. Minutes passed, I decided to play with them(sort of exercise, i guess) but I was like—eh? I honestly don’t know how to deal with that game so yea :D

At 8, our team was finally complete. We presented our yells and cheers, got done with our team flag and prepared ourselves for the coming challenges. The 12 challenges were cool and yet tiring. In the jigsaw puzzle and connecting lines, we’re not allowed to talk so we kept our mouth shut but there’s one challenge I liked the most—the Commando crawl where we crawled/dived on a slippery mud like a pig. :D After having our lunch, I, together with my girl friends took a bath in expose near the faucet using improvised dipper—the bottles. At 2, we had our last lecture and a mini-concert which ended up in announcing the places of each winning team. We, the Yellow Cheetah placed 4. The prizes are chips. Yeah cheap but cool. :D We went home at 6 and we were very glad that we successfully passed the 2-day training. My body and head aches but whatever, it is all WORTH IT. Congratulations, renewed student leaders! :)
