2nd Leaders’ Congress: SUCCESSFUL

DAY I - Lectures and talks and at the same time fun consumed the day. It was a great opportunity to meet those speakers and young leaders sharing their experiences to us which somehow empowered and enlightened our minds and heart MORE about the true spirit of a true leader. We had our lunch at past 12, break at 3 and dinner at past 6. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to have my dinner because of a funny and cute reason. The facilitators also divided the 103 leaders into 8 groups which were named after a color and an animal. Afterward, we had a short reflection/meditation. They released us at exactly 9 in the evening and I was so hungry when I got home. lol

DAY II - It was like I haven’t regained my energy yet so I find it hard for me to wake up early in the morning. I arrived to school at 6:30 in the morning, stayed at the guard house and waited for my companions. I got bored so I went inside the campus and sat down near the Acacia tree watching the other leaders playing Volleyball. Minutes passed, I decided to play with them(sort of exercise, i guess) but I was like—eh? I honestly don’t know how to deal with that game so yea :D

At 8, our team was finally complete. We presented our yells and cheers, got done with our team flag and prepared ourselves for the coming challenges. The 12 challenges were cool and yet tiring. In the jigsaw puzzle and connecting lines, we’re not allowed to talk so we kept our mouth shut but there’s one challenge I liked the most—the Commando crawl where we crawled/dived on a slippery mud like a pig. :D After having our lunch, I, together with my girl friends took a bath in expose near the faucet using improvised dipper—the bottles. At 2, we had our last lecture and a mini-concert which ended up in announcing the places of each winning team. We, the Yellow Cheetah placed 4. The prizes are chips. Yeah cheap but cool. :D We went home at 6 and we were very glad that we successfully passed the 2-day training. My body and head aches but whatever, it is all WORTH IT. Congratulations, renewed student leaders! :)

Exhausted much.

Our school’s homeroom and club-organization officers had their induction program this afternoon. Those performers were really good and GAY. haha The school gymnasium was filled with hard laughs, joy and boredom though everything turned and worked out well.

By the way, with regards to the officer matter, we’ll be undergoing a leadership training tomorrow ‘til Saturday so I have to prepare myself—for the tasks, challenges or whatsoever that we’ll be doing. I’m excited. Yep, you heard it right. We’ll be staying at the campus until 9 in the evening tomorrow and I don’t think that I’m still alive when I got home. lol

ENERGY DRAINED. Today was really tiring. I’m gonna go to bed after having my dinner. I’m hungry and sleepy. I need some sweet escape. I’m tired. Alright goodnight. Byeee

way back.

After 9years, I again stepped on the ground of my first school, Ednas. At lunch time, I and the other former Ednasians who are my schoolmates now in my secondary school went to visit and had a short reunion with our old classmates. As I roam my eyes inside the campus, many things have changed of course. There, I recognize my former classmates’ faces but eh— I don’t remember some of their names and good thing, some don’t remember mine, too. haha. A girl approached me and said “I remember you! You were the one with an enemy when we were little, aren’t you? But I don’t remember your name!” At the back of my mind, I was like—-“what are you saying? you only remember the bad thing about our childhood days and don’t even remember my name? you’re a fool.” Then a girl came to me again saying “Why are you here?! What are you doing here? ha?! ha!” My mind’s trying to recognize her but it was stuck so I just tried to tickle her on her belly. “You don’t remember me?!” she followed. And I replied “No I don’t. By the way, who are you?” She just foolishly smiled at me and said “Why did you tickle me if you don’t even know me?By the way I don’t know you too” And she walked away leaping. I was laughing at myself that I don’t know what to do and I was really shy that moment with all those juniors and seniors looking at us, strangely staring at our CAT-I officer uniform. I just want to disappear in a blink of an eye. Gaah, I want to melt myself. hahaha My company are enjoying their conversations with their other friends but I and Angelo, being a preparatory and a grade I pupil way back year 2000, still don’t know how things are going by then, compared to Joanna, Aprielle and Ephraim, who just graduated from elementary in Ednas 4 years ago. I was really regretting why I still came to their school, our former school which has given me unforgettable experiences that I hate and hate and hate in every way. I am a former Ednasian but not proud to be. No offense. Sorry. I just came to see my old haters—i mean friends? i guess so. haha. They want us to come back again but hell, never I will again. *crossedfingers*
